Misión Milby

The Misión Milby campus serves many needs of the community through our covenant community partners. Over 1200 persons a week are served by the various programs and ministries on campus.

Our Covenant Partner, the Misión Milby Community Development Corporation manages the campus as a separate nonprofit. Other covanant partners at Misión Milby include Shalom Health Ministry and Technology For All. ESL and GED classes are provided through a partnership with Houston Community College. The campus is located between Milby High School & Deady Middle School. Because of that, Misión Milby serves a large youth population that is provided a safe and secure place to go after school. Several hundred youth use the computers in the building after school each day and a large group of youth gather together on Wednesday afternooons after school for study, prayer, and support. This group of youth, called HOCK, is led by the Rev. Luis Ramirez.

Shalom Health Ministry provides health care to the underserved and serves 130-150 patients each week from within the community and over 100 zip codes. Servants of Christ is in the process of developing a new worship experience during the week for the youth at Misión Milby. Watch for details.
