Servant Teams
The weekly worship gatherings are a communal effort to express our love to God. Every part of the body of believers is invited to participate in this service to God. One of the ways we can choose to serve God is through our Worship Servant Teams. You can sign up for one or more of our servant-teams by filling out and submitting an Online Form. Your service is an important part of our ministry together. We will provide short training opportunities for these teams. For more information about any of the teams please contact Rev. Set-up and Take-down Servant-Teams - Because our worship space is used in several different ways, there is a lot of set-up and take-down involved. Set-up servants are diligent to arrive early, organize hospitality tables and altar tables, light candles and tun on lamps, set out offering baskets and refreshments, make sure that the coffee is brewing, and porvide support for a variety of other small projects. After the worship gathering, take-down servants clean up and "undo" the work of the set-up team.
Communion Servant-Team - Communion set-up servants arrive early and set-up the communion elements. After worship, they clear and clean the table. Communion Servers assist in serving the bread and juice to the congregation during the worship gathering.
Offering Servant-Team - This team helps collect and secure the offering. No counting is involved.
Hospitality Servant-Team - This team welcomes and greets the congregation, helps guests to connect with ohter members, passes out announcement hand-outs, offers children "passionate worship packs", and helps to pass out bibles.
Visual Media Servant-Team - This team is gifted with both technological and graphic design savvy. The "builders" arrive early to finalize the service's visual presentation, including the input/review of lyrics and announcements. The "clickers" run the presentation during the worship gathering.
Audio Servant-Team - Audio servants arrive early, help set-up sound equipment, sound check the pastors, band and choir, and run sound throughout the worship gathering.
Creative Design Servant-Team - This team meets periodically to provide vision and support for creative aspects of worship: visual imagery, drama, video, experiential ritual, etc.
SPLASH Servant-Team - This team assists with the SPLASH worship experience for our children. We need team leaders and adults who will rotate in and out of SPLASH once a month.
Nursery Servant-Team - Servants of Christ employs a paid nursery worker who is assisted by this team every Sunday. Sign up for one Sunday a month.
Musicians and Lead Worshipers - Servants of Christ seeks to expand its music leadership team for the 9:30am Watermark Contemporary Service. We are looking for singers and musicians (drums, keyboard, guitars, etc...).
Chancel Choir - The Chancel Choir leads music at the 11:00am Bilingual Service. The choir practices on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm.
